State of Georgia Approved DUI Clinical Evaluations
According to the official website of the Georgia DUI Intervention Program, any person convicted of a DUI in Georgia, or any licensed Georgia driver who gets a DUI in another state must successfully complete a Department of Drivers Services (DDS) approved DUI Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction Program and undergo a DUI Clinical Evaluation and, if recommended, complete a Substance Abuse Treatment Program.
The Clinical Evaluation is an assessment conducted by a Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) approved licensed or certified professional who is certified in the field of addiction. Betsy Mills, LPC, CEAP is an approved Clinical Evaluator for the DBHDD. With over twenty years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field, Betsy is available to conduct Clinical Evaluations.
